Spicy Mango Salsa

1-2 ripe mangoes
1/2 medium pineapple, coarsely chopped
2 jalapeno peppers (more or less to taste)
1/2 red onion, coarsely chopped
2 scallions, coarsely chopped
1-2 roma tomatoes, chopped
1/4 cup cilantro, coarsely chopped (optional)
1 lemon, juice of or lime
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
sugar, to taste

Mix all ingredients well.
Let sit at room temp 1 hour for flavors to meld.
Serve with any meat dish, great with black beans or as a beautiful side dish.
