Bellflower Root 도라지 (DoRaJi)
7 oz. Bellflower root
2 teaspoons sugar
1 stalk green onion
2 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon pepper powder
1 teaspoon sesame seed, roasted
2 teaspoons vinegar
salt (to taste)
Wash and peel the bellflower roots.
Cut them into strips.
Scrub them with salt to remove their bitter taste.
Rinse them in cold water, then squeeze them with gauze or paper towel to drain water thoroughly.
Crush the garlic and chop the green onion.
Add roots to the garlic and onions.
Season with remaining ingredients and mix well.
Transfer it to a serving plate.
